I have this sink in metallic gray. What a great material. I can take a pot from the stove and set it right in the sink without worry about harming it. It's nearly impossible to scratch and any stains scrub right out. The single bowl is so nice: I can lay a large cookie sheet down in it to soak. I'll never look at another stainless sink!

Our sink is White, not colored like this one.Anyway, we got a white Silgranit sink when remodeling.After a bit, it gets dirty on the bottom.Stainless steel rub-offs, etc.So, we tried cleaning it.First we tried soap, then we tried vinegar.Nothing.We tried scrubbers, we tried abrasive cleaners.A little better, but oh I was going to throw a spring.I finally bit the bullet and bought the Blanco cleaner, even giving the sink the benefit of having not been "properly cleaned" since we'd bought it.The cleaner barely made a dent, it would clean the sides a bit but that was it.We (wife and I) were bummed, it seemed we'd wasted our money on the sink.

Then, one day for some reason or another, my wife tried one of those Mr. Magic sponges.Turned out to be Magic indeed!The sink cleans up with EASE.I am not kidding.Wipe, wipe, wipe, clean sink!I came home from work and I noticed it straightaway, a gleaming Blanco Silgranit just as it looked the day it was delivered.I kid you not.NOT A SPOT WAS LEFT.The sink went from being a disappointment to being cherished!!

5" Diamond Polishing pad, 3000 grit dry Review

I purchased these to polish the edges of my granite tile countertop. I attached them to an orbital sander, and it took quite awhile, I later found out I should have used a grinder with a different pad on it! But the polishing pads worked great! I used 1500 then 3000 and I watched the grey edges turn to shiny black! :)

Neiko Tools USA 10" Diamond Blades Wet Dry Tile Diamond Blade Review

For the price its not a bad blade. I purchased 2 blades already, and though I didnt count every cut, I probably made a few hundred cuts with each blade. I'd say it was an average cut of 8 linear inches through pavers that are 2+3/8 inches thick. I've used other blades that were more expensive, and didn't last as long, and i've used cheaper blades that weren't even close. About the only negative i've found is that the kerf is little wide, and the finished cut is not as perfect as the more expensive blades, the same ones that didn't last as long as these. So for paver work these are perfect, but I wouldn't use it for natural stones or ceramics.

Blanco 51341 BlancoPrecis Silgranit II Super Single Bowl Undermount Kitchen Sink Review

I purchased this sink in anthracite (dk grey/black) and so far I am very pleased with it and would definitely consider it on my next project.I have never liked SS sinks because they are hard to keep clean (even with soft water, it is prone to water spots) the noise, and the flexion that the bowl exhibits.Yes, I have heard from numerous people that the "better" ones eliminate it.My experience is that those problems are never eliminated, just minimized, and then you are looking at over $600 for a simple single bowl sink.I am very happy with the sink and it matches what I wanted very much.It does not have a high gloss surface, durable, heat resistant, does not leave water spots, and is relatively quite.

My material of choice has always been Cast iron.it is very stable, deadens sound very well (i grew up in a house with a cast iron sink so i never knew using the sink can be so loud with SS sinks) and I have found them to be extremely durable.I know some people have had chipping of the enamel, but I have never experienced that myself.

While I am very pleased with this composite granite materoal, I do have to say that when i ordered this sink (not from amazon) it was shipped in the manufacturers box only.The package was hit on the top edge along the longer side, right where the sink is most vulnerable.a moon shaped chunk was broken from the sink that extended about 8 of the 10 inches deep and spanning the entire width of the bowl.I did get a replacement and it has held up beautifully.While I am not faulting the product I just want to put it out there that unlike SS that will deform and dent , and Cast Iron that can crack or chip, the composite simply breaks.Of course I feel that the knock that my first sink suffered would have resulted in damage to any sink I would have ordered.Just make sure you buy from a reputable seller that has them in stock.My retailer did not so it took me about 4 weeks to receive the replacement (still shipped in the manufacturer's box only)

For the price, it is a great alternative to the other materials.One last thing that I love about this patricular sink; the width is exactly enough to rest a standard half sheet pan across.No need to buy a fancy custom fit cutting board like kohler offers.I just use the sheet pan and have a small cutting board that sits on it.Cheap and very functional.now I do all my prep in the sink and don't have to move around to get rid of the waste.

I use these bits regularly to drill glass ranging from 1/8 to 3/4 inches and averaging 3/8ths inch thick. I can drill more than 250 holes with a single bit when run in a cold water bath on a drill press. They rarely clog, are self cleaning, create an accurate hole and start well on irregular surfaces. They are manufactured from heavy duty materials. They are stout. I have tried about five other brands of various designs. This Hitachi design is simply the best.

4-1/2" 1,200 Watt Marble Cutter Ul Listed Review

Although I was sent the wrong tool initially, the company made provisions to pick it up and re-send the correct tool that I had ordered without a shipping cost to me.It did take a while for me to get the correct tool shipped, but communication was excellent.I got quick responses to my e-mails.
I used this tool to cut a 1 inch granite vanity top and it worked relatively Ok.It is NOT a tool to be used to get a nice straight, and flawless cut, since it doesn't have enough power and bogged down while cutting and the blade is not top quality.However, if you just need a rough cut like I did because I was putting back and side splashes, it works Ok.Note that after making about 4 cuts, the blade has lost quite a bit of the diamond chips that enable cutting so it won't last very much longer before it needs replacing.
Overall, the tool was Ok if you are looking for a rough cut.

I got this set years ago, and I've been happily carving with it ever since.The 3/4"B is quieter than the D type hammers, but it still packs plenty of punch.It can work just about any kind of stone you'd care to carve, dial it up for pulverizing granites or dial it down for chiseling on marbles and alabasters, very versatile!

The set comes with a few very useful chisels, and a tool wrap to hold them (this is important: don't let carbide chisels bang into each other in a toolbox).The carving chisel this set came with is still my very favorite and most used chisel.

Diamond Hand Polishing Pads for Stone - Set of 8 Pcs Review

I purchased these to make my own concrete counter-tops and they worked great. The only reason I gave them 4 instead of 5 was because one of the pads was slightly deformed when I got it. It was a higher grit than I needed for my project, so it wasn't a big deal. I did about 12 feet of counter-top, and I only needed the one set.
