I usually don't write too many reviews, but I don't believe the 2 other reviews (which I based my purchase on), both giving this product 5 stars, are very accurate nor very helpful in helping one make a good decision about purchasing this item.

I ordered 2 of these from Amazon and received them in a somewhat timely manner.It took about 8 business days to finally arrive.Upon taking delivery, I immediately opened the boxes and took inventory of what was in the box.[Caution]If you expect to receive a high quality cabinet, this is probably not for you.The packing of the cabinets is sub-par because there is no protection for the corners of the side panels.If the box happens to fall on any of the corners, expect to have some damage(s).I had damage on two of the side panels and there were dents to one of the top and bottom panels of one of the cabinets.Some panels had kinks in them which I either took a hammer to straighten it out, or I used some pliers to bend them back into shape.Also, the bends in the corner had caused the finish to crack, thus exposing the metal underneath.

I called GarageWork on the day I took delivery and they were very helpful in ordering replacement parts.It took about 8 working days to receive the parts and the side panels were still looking pretty shabby (at the corners).This is mainly due to the lack of pride they take in packaging their products.

I usually take things in stride.I assembled the side panels of the cabinet even with the defects and called it a day.The finished product looks okay, but if you think about it...probably cost $2000 to have custom cabinets installed (all-be-it, they wouldn't be metal).Spending $700+ on these just didn't live up to my expectation in quality that I would expect when spending that kind of money.If you're super anal about stuff; I would stay far away from these (cabinets).I was going to purchase more items to complete the look and finish of my garage, but now I'm going to look at other products.This is simply not worth the money.I hope this helps you in making a more informed decision.

5" Diamond Polishing Pad - Set of 8 Pcs with Free Back Holder Review

Ive used high grade wet polishing pads befor so I was not sure how I would like these due to the low low price.

Once I got them in the mail they looked more rugged to me then the normal high grade disks. And I must say THEY ARE!

This set of disks as lasted me about 4 X longer then the normal ones you might be used to working with. Ive done several flights of mable and granite staircases with this one set and there is enough left on the pads to do all those steps & landings over again!
Im very pleased and would purchess them again!

The other great thing about this pad set are the edges are flat so you do not have to tip your wet grinder on edge to get close to the risers on a staircase or the back splash of a counter top. Perfect!

However if you are using this pad set on a 17" velcro backer or larger for large scale marble/granite restoration you might want to go with another pad with a rounded lip/edge on the disk to make it ever un even tiles. If you are on slab you will be ok and can over come most lippage problums with the 50grit.

4" Wet Tile Saw Cutter Review

I purchased this item because I needed to score (1/4 inch depth every 2 inches) a sealed basement floor to install granite tiles.In preparation for tedious job I ordered two MK Diamond Blades to fit a 5/8 inch auger.After receipt of this saw I found that, yes indeed it had a 5/8 auger but it also had a blade seating attachment that required an inch auger hole on the blade, so the ordered blades could not be used.An email to the seller and their response, we'll check our warehouse, and nothing else was heard.The box (made in Chine) indicates a 5/8 auger, when USA Mfr's indicated an auger size that normally indicates what size blades can be used.Just keep this in mind when you purchase this.........

Blanco 511-701 Blancodiamond Double Bowl Undermount Kitchen Sink, White Review

The white Blanco Silgranit (silly granite) sink soaks up stains like a sponge. The description says non porous and the opposite is true. It soaks up stains like an old white sink from the 1950's that you have to clean constantly. I had no warning of this when researching and purchasing it. It is well installed underneath beautiful solid granite counter tops which was special cutto fit the sink. To remove and replace it would cost the price of a new sink and about 2 to 3 thousand dollars to remove and replace the granite. Unless you like scrubbing your sink daily with expensive special Blanco Silgrant cleanser daily, either get used to an ugly dirty looking stained sink or don't buy this product. I wrote Blanco and described the problem and got no response. I searched on line for an easy cleaner and found expensive cleanser equivalent to soft scrub. I am now hoping there is a product that can seal the surface so it won't be so labor intensive and ugly.

SOFT STONE HAND CARVING SET WITH ROUND HAMMER Review

I use these tools for carving Alabaster and I find them to be very well made and I have not rolled/bend the point while carving Alabaster. After 42 pounds the point is still good to go. I also have the round 1.5 lb hammer (mallet) and highly recommend it as well. They also make a set of hard stone tools with carbide tips that I will purchase for anything harder than Alabaster.

EASE OF INSTALLATION:(5/5)

To virtually eliminate leakage at the base, a wax ring with an A.B.S. flange works best.Depending on the location of your shut-off valve, a short 9 inch braided stainless steel flex connector is preferred for a quick and leak-tight connection.

FLUSHING POWER:(5/5)

Residentially, simply the best in the business.The strong flush also cleans any sediment left inside the fixture drain eliminating future clogging.Due to the strong flush, the installation manual also cautions with conditions on installing two Supreme toilets back-to-back.

BOWL AND RIM CLEANING:(4/5)

Cleaning ability is relative to how strong the waste adheres to the bowls surface.This obviously varies with each individual who uses the toilet.Personally, I have not seen a residential toilet under extreme conditions that can effectively wash the bowl and rim with one flush.

The Supreme's water does not swirl in the bowl like most other makes and therefore fails to wet all surface areas of the bowl.After a week of use, a noticeable ring of dirt appears at the bowl's water level which is also the bowl's change in contour.

There is a jet-like stream under the front of the rim that is aimed at the bowl's waste outlet to breakup harder waste matter pushing it into the outlet to almost guarantee a one-time plug-free flush.American Standard has an elongated commercial 2-piece toilet where the jet-like stream's outlet is below the surface of the bowl's water (like a jacuzzi) where the stream is much stronger virtually eliminating any clogging.

SOFT CLOSE SEAT:(4.5/5)

The top surface of the seat is angled steeper than most traditional seats.It's something to get used to by having to position your body's shape along the length of the seat for the most comfortable seating position.The top of the seat is also on average higher than traditional seats.

The soft close lid and seat does effectively eliminate slamming.

TANK LID COVER:(4.5/5)

I took 0.5 points off because the top surface of the tank is slanted towards the user.Placing accessories on the lid would not be recommended.The accessories will eventually slide off damaging the TOTO, the accessory and the flooring.It is best to apply small non-slip legs on the bottom of the accessory to eliminate sliding.

The provided Velcro strips did not adhere to the rough edge of the tank.Therefore, I did not use the strips.The lid under normal circumstances will not separate from the tank.No big deal.

OVERALL:(5/5)

The older two piece water saving Eljer toilet the Supreme replaced was constantly plugging.

I bought the Supreme for one reason:flushing power.As a result, the 5 star rating is biased towards it's flushing ability.

Would I buy another TOTO?Any TOTO?Yes!

Blanco 511-653 Blancodiamond Super Single Bowl Kitchen Sink, Metallic Gray Review

I am sitting here today, without my Blanco, Siligranit sink installed, without water, without a replacement sink and without a new installation date, which, I was informed, could be several weeks, after the 1-3 weeks to get a replacement sink. The sink I purchased has cracks, found under the styrofoam packing, by the installers, who refuse to install it, rightfully. I read another Amazon review, after purchasing ours, that told the same story - several Siligranit sinks later, the person finally had one that wasn't cracked. Our installers told us the last home owner they dealt with, that had a Siligranit sink, had to replace it twice, but the third time she did get one that wasn't cracked. So, if you don't want to find yourself stranded, without a kitchen sink for indefinite weeks, I suggest you purchase a sink that isn't a Blanco Siligranit sink AND buy it someplace close by, so that you can zip over and return it, if there's a problem! This is not a freight/shippig problem! It's the manufacturer's problem, contrary to what I was told, when trying to return it. Don't do it!

IMPERIAL MARBLE CORP C3122GGSS VANITY TOP Review

I ordered the 31" x 19" sink and it was exactly what I wanted but it arrived with a shattered backsplash! Packaging was terrible! Arrived in original box - they never packaged it in another box with styrofoam or packing pillows. When I asked to receive another one, they said it would be too expensive to send. The damaged sink still sits on my front porch, 3 days later, waiting to be picked up by UPS! First ever bad encounter ordering from Amazon site. I was able to contact Imperial Marble and found I could get this sink from a local hardware store - only a dollar more!

Well, this is an edit. I am none to happy with this vendor! That rotten, broken sink still sits on my front porch - after over a week! First they told me to discard of it, which means I have to pay the transfer station for discarding two sinks! I told them to have UPS pick it up and they said they would if I removed my feedback! I should just be happy that I received a credit!

I now have this sink and installed it today - it's really nice! If you want one, look up "Do It Best" hardware stores nearest you. Oh, one correction to my last posting: The sink actually cost $114.99 and no shipping! BIC Superstore's price with shipping was $133.76.

EDIT #2: It is now the 15th of August and BIC Superstore still has not had the damaged sink picked up! They had the gall to tell me that I had refused pickup to UPS - insinuating the sink was O.K.??? - and I was trying to get it for nothing???!!! This is a terrible company to do business with! It will now cost me an additional $5.00 to take this damaged sink to the transfer station!

The only contact I have had from BIC Superstore was an email giving me directions on how to remove this feedback!

EDIT #3: It is now the evening of August 24th - that lousy box with a broken vanity top sink still sits on my front porch! The liars at BIC Superstore told me on 8/16/07 - direct email quote: "I have contacted ups again and requested they come pick up the item from our customer. I hope they will not fool around with me and pick it up. since we have issued you a full refund, we will greatly appreciate if you will remove the negative feedback since it makes a big impact for our company" UNREAL! If you enjoy being jerked around by a company - order from them! Otherwise, go elsewhere!

The toilet was istalled by my husband for my mother in law who is 81 yrs old.She loves it.The added height helps and she likes the extra room on the enlongated model.It flushes so nice and quiet and you only have to flush once!My husband used a wax free seal and he says it works very well, not so messy.We did a lot of research on toilets and this is rated the very best by plumbers and users.We agree.

Barre Bantam Pneumatic Stone Carving Hammer Review

Honestly I don't know how a bantam rooster runs, but this is the story about how it was named.This hammer is a lot smaller than any of the other hammers offered by T&H, it's just about as big around as an air hose, but it's proportionately just as powerful, high-quality and well-built.It's super light and easy to handle, and it can get into areas that the larger hammers can't.I use it to rough in on soft stones like alabaster, and for detail work on harder marbles and lettering on granites.
This is a must have for your stoneworking toolset.

Blanco 511-710 Blancodiamond Single Bowl Kitchen Sink, Biscuit Review

I finally got my sink installed about two weeks ago, and I love it.I'm not much of a "sink" person - I don't really notice sinks, never kept my stainless one clean, etc.But, this sink really looks great.I got it to go with my biscotti cabinets and soap stone countertops.It is very deep (my other sink was only ~7" deep) and big - it holds a lot.But, measure very carefully and make sure you check with your plumber and counter installer - this sink was actually too long (back to front) for my standard 24" cabinet.They made it fit, but I only have about 3" in the back for my faucet, and usually you want to have at least 4".Also, you need to be aware of whether a backsplash or window sill will be in the way of your faucet.Another option is to put your faucet off center - to the right or left.If you bump out your sink, you will also have no worries.
