Ive used high grade wet polishing pads befor so I was not sure how I would like these due to the low low price.Once I got them in the mail they looked more rugged to me then the normal high grade disks. And I must say THEY ARE!
This set of disks as lasted me about 4 X longer then the normal ones you might be used to working with. Ive done several flights of mable and granite staircases with this one set and there is enough left on the pads to do all those steps & landings over again!
Im very pleased and would purchess them again!
The other great thing about this pad set are the edges are flat so you do not have to tip your wet grinder on edge to get close to the risers on a staircase or the back splash of a counter top. Perfect!
However if you are using this pad set on a 17" velcro backer or larger for large scale marble/granite restoration you might want to go with another pad with a rounded lip/edge on the disk to make it ever un even tiles. If you are on slab you will be ok and can over come most lippage problums with the 50grit.
